My haircut tips

Why do you have to cut your hair?

In addition to preventing split ends, this helps keep your hair healthy and strong. Split ends dull
the color. It also helps add volume and thickness. Cutting them helps keep the hair healthy and
therefore promotes healthier hair renewal. Hair tends to wear out and become thinner. Cutting it
regularly helps prevent this and thus the hair grows stronger

What haircut is suitable for my round face?

A suitable haircut can allow you to refine and lengthen your face gently. To break up the
roundness, focus on volume at the roots rather than on the sides of the face. Avoid at all costs
hair that is the length of your cheeks, such as short bobs and bowl cuts. For example, opt for a
mid-length or long cut to lengthen it. As for your fringe, side strands will enhance your
appearance more than straight fringes, which will tend to make you look shorter.

What haircut is suitable for a square face?

We avoid very short, “boyish” cuts, which will emphasize your jaw, hair that is too long and
without volume, straight bobs, clean cuts, long and thick bangs, and a parting in the middle. To
enhance your face, layered cuts on long or mid-length hair with movement, and volume at the
roots. We soften the angles with wavy, tousled-styled hairstyles.

What haircut is suitable for an oval face?

The oval face can wear all hairstyles: straight bangs, bob, long hair, short hair, bangs… Treat
yourself, dare!

What is the difference between fade and taper?

A layered cut will give movement and structure to the hair, unlike thinning, which tends to lighten
the hair mass. This cut is suitable for both thick and fine hair. On thick hair, the layered cut
allows you to reduce the mass a little and structure the cut. On fine hair, which sometimes lacks
shape and volume, it allows you to gain movement and volume.
Thinning will create movement and, above all, thin out the hair to have more lightness. This cut
is suitable for short and/or thick hair. It is therefore not suitable for fine hair.

Why do you need to thin your hair?

Thinning your hair involves lightening the hair mass at the ends and mid-lengths. The goal of
this technique: is to create movement and thin out the hair to give it more lightness. Thinning is
therefore the ideal way to aerate and lighten a cut, thick hair.

Why is it necessary to degrade?

The gradient technique adds volume to the hair. Unlike thinning, the gradient does not refine the
material, but rather the structure through a play of lengths. By overlapping, the strands give an
impression of relief and density… This maximizes movement while preserving hair mass.

How often should you cut your hair?

Hair grows about one centimeter per month. It is therefore important to cut your hair about every
3 months to prevent split ends from rising too far up the lengths, which will force you to cut more
than expected. This will also allow you to maintain and restructure your cut to always be on top
with healthy hair.

I want to keep them long without cutting

Even if you are looking for length, this does not exempt you from removing the ends regularly!
You must cut your hair at least every 3 months otherwise split ends will set in and rise your
lengths, forcing you to cut everything off

Should you cut your hair with clippers?

It is a quick-cutting technique that allows you to cut a fringe straight for example (be careful of
the eyebrows underneath though!), but also the ends on long and short hair to have something
straight, full, and clean. It can also be used for a graphic cut with uneven clean lengths.
Just like scissors, clippers do not damage the hair fiber. They also help to thin out the hair.
